File Transfer in the Background

You can use ConcordFTP to transfer files in the background without opening the program interface. To use Background Transfer, you have to first setup the transfer as Queue (see Download with Queue or Upload with Queue) or Mirror (see Update Mirror Site). After you setup transfer Queue, right click on the Queue in the FTP Queue window and select Background Persistent Transfer, or go to the Queue > Background Persistent Transfer… menu to select the options in the Schedule Transfer dialog box.
When background transfer is taking place, blinking icons will appear in your tray icon to signify the transfer. If you double click the Tray Icon, the progress window will popup to reveal the status of your transfer task. You can setup multiple background transfers with each transfer task represented by a blinking tray icon.
