Back to List of Examples
In the process of simple anonymous downloading, we will use filestream.com as the site we want to download from.
If you have not yet setup the FTP site in FTP Neighborhood, right click on FTP Neighborhood and select New Site… or use the File > New Site menu to open the New Site dialog box. In the Site Information Address field, enter filestream.com and in User Information, check off Anonymous. Press Connect to save this information in FTP Neighborhood and connect to the site, or press OK to simply save the site properties and close the dialog box.
To connect to the site, use any of the following methods:
- Double click on the site.
- Right click the filestream.com site and select Connect.
- Use Connect > Connect… menu to open the Connect dialog box and select filestream.com in the list drop down menu, then press OK.
- Highlight filestream.com and use the Connect > Quick Connect menu.
The FTP Status window will alert you when you have connected successfully and your FTP Folders window will refresh with updated folders under filestream.com.
