Frequently Asked Questions
I can't find my WinSettings Tray icon. When I double click the WinSettings Desktop icon, it says WinSettings is already running but I can't see it in the System Tray. What do I do?
First, use Ctrl+Alt+Del to bring up the Task Manager, select WinSettings from the list and end it. Then, double click the WinSettings Desktop icon to bring it back to the System Tray.
I have saved my online banking login information on the computer. How do I remove it to prevent others from accessing my account?
Some banks store login information in the form of cookies on clients' computers. We recommend that you first find out if this is how your bank stores information. If this is how your bank does it, you can use the WinSettings Clean Up Cookies feature to remove your login information. You can clean up saved cookies in the WinSettings Control Center. Get control of Cookies, identify the name of the bank and delete it.
